What 20,000 Americans Had to Say

I know that the "Health Care House Call" in D.C. was almost a month ago now, and the shelf life on this story was expired almost instantly compliments of the Fort Hood shooting. We all know H.R. 3962 "Affordable Health Care for America Act" passed two days later along party lines so it seemed like all our effort was for nothing. I'm guilty of a similar sentiment, but I really think I may have missed the point of a protest I attended in person.
Tonight I was planning on getting my equipment ready for the 9/11 Families rally against civilian trials in NYC this Saturday the 5th, but after stumbling onto the dozens of videos Angel and I shot down in D.C. I realized that there was a story that still needed to be told. Now I can't fault the media for skipping the coverage of the rally in favor of the Fort Hood shooting. I know if I was home I probably would have changed channels myself. However, tens of thousands of Americans showed up on the Capitol lawn specifically to have their voices heard. Obviously Congress wasn't listening either, so there in lies the greatest outrage.
I figure nobody gave the people that attended this rally a loud enough microphone, so for what it's worth, I've spent the night cutting together a majority of the footage Angel and I shot. These people came from all over the country on less then a week's notice to our nation's Capitol to have their voices heard. Out of respect for these great patriots I present to you the "Health Care House Call" rally, from the crowds perspective.
Please take the time to watch these videos and show everyone who went the respect their own representatives in Congress didn't.
First we have our dear friend Chuck from Texas...
Next we have the people, in their own words, voicing their love of this country and their anger at it's governance.
Every Republican in Congress came walking down the steps of the Capitol expecting a heroes welcome. They got one at first, but after two quick shouts from Angel and I, you can hear the tone of the whole crowd change.
Michele Bachmann's speech, our time in line outside the Rayburn Congressional Office Building, and finally the beginning of our "incident" with everyone's favorite congressman, Barney Frank.
And the best for last. A very special message from the employers on the lawn, to their employees in the Capitol.
