With everyone around the nation feverishly awaiting the poll results on Tuesday, January 19th, we wanted to take a break from the harder news we've been co vering to give a special thank you everyone both in-state and around the country. There is such a sense of the excitement and energy that's in the air; it's almost indescribable. We've all heard jokes about this being "Christmas for patriots" or "the vote heard round the world" but understand that, for many of us here in Massachusetts, this is the first time our vote has really mattered. Unless you've made the trip up here to volunteer like so many great patriots have, we thought we try to bring you the next best thing.
With a police estimated 2500+ attendance, this wasn't close to being Scott Browns largest rally of the weekend, but what made this event so special was it's location. You're looking at Main St. in Hyannis. If that sounds familiar, it's because this intersection is actually about a mile from the famous/infamous Kennedy compound. What you're seeing is lifelong Democrats saying enough is enough and abandoning blind party loyalty and joining in what was by far the most fun rally we've attended this campaign. Spirits couldn't have been higher. Hopefully this will be the model of what's to come throughout the rest of the year. Please though don't let the media spin what has happened here in Massachusetts. This isn't a GOP revolution by any stretch of the imagination. What happened here is actual grass roots common sense conservatism.
